Q&A

Why do you make time to read for leisure?

Growing up, reading has always been my favorite way to spend my time. I became more intentional about reading after graduating from law school by really making time for books everyday because it helps me stay creative and inspired. Reading for me is a constant reminder that there is more to be learned, and sometimes things are not as they seem at first glance. It invites me to be more inquisitive, and to leave no stone unturned and no idea unexplored, especially about issues that I am passionate about.

What current issues are you passionate about?

I am passionate about sustainability, conservation, and climate justice for all. These are the most pressing issues of our times, and the Philippines is no stranger to extreme weather events brought about by climate change. I hope to contribute for the better in some meaningful way, and I am excited to find out how I can do so.
